Beyond the Frontline

A large scale theatre installation that explored what would happen if the British Army had to be stationed on our doorstep and not on the sandy plains of foreign lands. The audience, briefed on the need to take control of the Lowry Plaza come under fire and are rushed into four Bedford trucks. After hearing about the experience of war very close at hand the show culminates in a moving scene in the hospital tent. Featuring a chorus of 250, a fuel air explosion, and an originally composed requiem.
