Uncle Vanya
Chekhov’s classic tale of unrequited love, in a new adaptation by Peter Gill, is directed into a light and witty production by Tamara Harvey. Staged in the round, initially at Theatr Clwyd and later transferring to the Crucible Studio in Sheffield, it was heralded as “a finely crafted re-working” by The Stage, with the performances by Jamie Ballard and Rosie Sheehy attracting particular praise – The Telegraph said “Jamie Ballard is one of the finest Vanya’s I’ve ever seen”.
